Terms of Agreement

  • Coverage: SLA plans cover normal wear and tear (e.g., tap fixes, minor blockages like sink or toilet clogs cleared by plunger/rod, toilet cistern repairs). Excludes pre-existing issues, client negligence (e.g., flushing non-flushable items), major installations (e.g., full pipe systems, new boilers), or complex repairs requiring specialized equipment (e.g., jetting, excavation, or non-standard parts). Membership plans provide discounts and priority service; all work charged at fixed rates (£108/£102/£90/hour for Basic/Standard/Premium) plus parts at cost.
  • Caps: Silver SLA covers parts up to £500/year for minor repairs; Gold SLA covers parts and labor up to £2,000/year for repairs (not installations or complex repairs). Membership plans have no repair caps.
  • Fair Use: Silver’s 4 and Gold’s 6 minor callouts/year (1 hour free labor each) are subject to fair use; excessive use may trigger review.
  • Inspections: SLA inspections limited to 1 hour each; additional time charged at £90-£120/hour. Monthly SLA contracts include prorated inspections (none for Bronze, 1 every 3 months for Silver, 1 every 6 weeks for Gold). Premium membership includes one free 1-hour inspection per year; additional inspections charged at £90-£120/hour.
  • Response Times: Guaranteed as listed (24/8/4 hours for SLA plans, 48/12/4 hours for membership plans). £150 fee for faster response than plan allows (waived on higher plans). Missed SLAs due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, staff unavailability) may result in a £50 service credit, at our discretion.
  • Overages: SLA labor beyond 1 hour/callout or inspection, or repairs beyond caps, charged at £90-£120/hour (10-20% off for non-covered work, varies by job complexity or timing) plus parts at cost. Membership work charged at fixed rates (£108/£102/£90/hour for Basic/Standard/Premium) plus parts at cost. See our FAQ for rate details.
  • Client Responsibility: Clients must maintain systems (e.g., avoid misuse) and provide timely access to ensure plan compliance. Unauthorized system modifications void coverage unless approved by Chelsea Plumbers.
  • Payment Terms: Rolling monthly plans (SLA or membership) require first month’s payment upfront and 30-day cancellation notice. Annual SLA contracts require upfront payment with 5% discount. Late payments incur a £25 fee or 5% of the outstanding balance, whichever is higher.
  • Reviews & Cancellation: Annual SLA contracts have a minimum 12-month term, reviewed every 6 months; 30 days’ notice required for cancellation. Rolling monthly plans (SLA or membership) cancellable with 30 days’ notice.
  • Pricing: Prices are for standard shops. Chelsea Plumbers may adjust pricing post-inspection.
